It’s easy to get to Orchard Shopping Centre at the heart of Taunton Town Centre.

Visiting by Car

Orchard Shopping Centre is adjacent to the town centre multi-storey car park at Paul Street. The car park offers 300+ car parking spaces with designated spaces for ‘disabled’ visitors and a local authority “Compass disability” scheme is operated from level 2 of multi storey car park. The car park is ‘pay and display’ and is well signposted along the route into Taunton Town Centre.

Park and Ride

There are two park and ride facilities in Taunton – Silk Mills Park and Ride on the west side of Taunton plus Taunton Gateway Park and Ride near Junction 25 of the M5 to the east of Taunton. They provide free parking all day with an adult return bus ticket into Taunton town centre on the Taunton Park and Ride at £3.60. An adult single costs £2.40.


Visiting by Bus

Visiting by Train

There is a mainline station at Taunton. Exit the station and turn left, follow the signs to the town centre along Station Road, Bridge Street and North Street. You will reach the Burma Memorial and The Market House, Orchard Shopping Centre is adjacent to The Market House.

Visiting by Taxi

The nearest taxi rank to Orchard Shopping Centre is outside the Municipal Buildings, Corporation Street, TA1 4AQ.


Access to Orchard Shopping Centre is via entrances at High Street, Fore Street and Paul Street. There is good access at all public entrances and by lift from the multi-storey car park for those with special accessibility requirements.
